Dr Gemma Bridge
Founder and Director
Bridge Research was founded by Dr. Gemma Bridge, a passionate advocate for enhancing the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. With a Ph.D. in Public Health and Communication from Leeds Beckett University, Gemma has dedicated her career to impactful research and writing.

Gemma's expertise lies in collaborative efforts to tackle public health challenges. She thrives on developing, exploring, and evaluating policies and interventions that promote health and wellbeing. By embracing an interdisciplinary approach, she aims to create tangible change and drive positive outcomes through research and community engagement.​

Beyond professional pursuits, Gemma serves as the Running Mayor of West Yorkshire, actively participating in the #Runsome campaign. Gemma is on mission is to inspire more people to incorporate running into their everyday journeys, errands, and commutes, championing active travel for a healthier lifestyle.
