Hi! I am Dr Gemma Bridge, a passionate advocate for promoting the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. My background is in Public Health and Communication. I completed my Ph.D. at Leeds Beckett University in 2020 and have since dedicated myself to research and writing.

My expertise lies in working collaboratively to address public health challenges. I thrive on developing, exploring, and evaluating effective policies and interventions that enhance health and wellbeing. By taking an interdisciplinary approach, I strive to create tangible change through my research.

 

I have experience in writing grant applications and have supported charities and community organizations secure funding.

As a versatile writer, I have covered a diverse array of topics ranging from food and drink to theatre and ballet, design and art, sport and fitness, and economics and business.

In addition to my research and writing pursuits, I hold the esteemed title of Running Mayor of West Yorkshire, actively involved in the #Runsome campaign. My mission is to encourage more individuals to incorporate running into their everyday journeys, errands, and commutes, promoting active travel for a healthier lifestyle.
