Bridge Research is a UK based research and evaluation consultancy specialising in qualitative research, insight gathering, evaluation support, and academic writing. Our expertise lie in public health and active travel promoting the wellbeing of people and places. We work with a diverse array of individuals, groups and organisations.

Bridge Research was founded in 2023 by Dr Gemma Bridge, an experienced researcher, passionate about public health, sustainability, and community engagement. Since Bridge Research was founded, Dr Robert Stanley has joined - offering quantitative skills and complex systems expertise.
We support local and national charities by helping with funding bids and donating to projects. We also mentor and provide opportunities for students and early career researchers helping them to develop essential skills to progress in their research and evaluation careers.

Dr Gemma Bridge
Founder and Director
​Bridge Research was founded by Dr. Gemma Bridge, a passionate advocate for enhancing the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. With a Ph.D. in Public Health and Communication, Gemma is dedicating her career to impactful research, evaluation and writing.

Gemma's expertise lies in collaborative efforts to tackle public health challenges. She thrives on developing, exploring, and evaluating policies and interventions that promote health and wellbeing. ​By embracing an interdisciplinary approach, she aims to create tangible change and drive positive outcomes through research and community engagement.​​
Dr Robert Stanley
Co-Director
​Dr Robert Stanley is passionate about developing understanding of how high-performers develop their 'craft', and assessing complex systems. With a Ph.D. in Coaching and Performance Analysis, Robert is skilled in quantitative research and systems thinking.
​
Robert provides administrative and operational support to Bridge Research, ensuring that the processes, operations, and systems in place work for the team and the clients we work with.​
